We, like many families are affected by the shut down of businesses during this time due to the coronavirus. Lou is a server and his restaurant closed indefinitely and my dog sitting gig has virtually stopped because no one is traveling for the foreseeable future.
To say we are stressed is an understatement. We have great moments of happiness and family time, but every hour, the doubt, worry, and depression creeps in: "how in the world are we going to do this?"
We are committed to working as many jobs as we have to in order to keep our home for our sons, Logan (2 years) and Lucas (9 months). And, we would be grateful for any support financially that anyone can give. If we are able to secure future rent, so that when we can work, we're not starting from the negative, it will help us so much in the coming months and years as we work hard to get back on our feet.
Anything above our goal that we raise, we will be giving to other service industry workers who are similarly affected. We are all in this together.
