A week ago the Hopkins family was turned upside down when William Hopkins collapsed and quit breathing suddenly.  He was put into therapeutic hypothermia, a medically induced coma and ventilation.  They performed an MRI along with other tests and it was clear that there was significant damage to his brain on both sides, and to his heart.  The latest EEG shows that William will never wake up and his body will not be able to live without the machines. Making things worse, because of the pandemic no one has been allowed to be with William since he has entered the hospital. His parents have the unthinkable responsibility of taking their son off of life support, and they will finally be able to be by his side only during his final moments. Frank and Pamela along with William's two sisters Faith and Beth, will be left to pick up the pieces. William was only 42, with no health or life insurance.
