As some of you may be aware, I have been growing my hair now for several years; it started off for a multitude of reasons, some maybe not good enough to warrant not cutting it for so long.
That is until I found out about a charity called the Little Princess Trust. They are a charity dedicated to created wigs out of donated hair for young children and adults who are battling Cancer or other nasty diseases that have resulted in them losing their hair. For this reason I decided to keep growing my hair till it was deemed long enough to help make a difference.
I’m sure many people, like me, have had Cancer impact their lives in some way or another, be it friends, family or even suffering through it themselves. In my own case, I saw what a difference having a wig could make for someone suffering from Cancer, not only does it provide them with more confidence, but also makes them feel less anxious going out in public or seeing their friends.
As an additional part of this I have set up this go fund me page in order to raise money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. There is of course no pressure to donate, but any contribution is greatly appreciated :)
