Hoping for Life without MS

This is our friend Sonia and her beautiful family. Sonia is suffering with MS and is travelling to Mexico for revolutionary treatment to try and halt this disease so she can continue to be an active and healthy mum for her family.

Son is reluctant to ask for help, it's the Aussie way to soldier on, but to this family, it will mean taking on more debt. We, her friends and family are asking for any help that people could offer to lighten the load for Sonia, her family and children.

Unfortunately this treatment is not yet available in Australia.

Treatment involves stem cell collection, intensive chemotherapy to destroy the immune system and then reintroduction of the saved stem cells.

Funds donated through this campaign will be used towards travel to Mexico, the treatment, and significant recovery time (4 weeks in Mexico) and at least two months at home where Sonia and her hubby (carer) will be unable to work.
