HOPEtown is looking for some people to invest in our community by helping our Hands of Hope ministry take a big step forward. Hands of Hope is our effort to provide home repair and maintenance to elderly and/or disabled homeowners who are physically unable to do the work themselves or are unable to afford the cost of having it done. On Saturday, April 14, we will be partnering with the youth groups of First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg along with Lewisburg First United Methodist Church (in addition to youth groups from Columbia and Shelbyville) in tackling at least four and possibly as many as six different projects in the area immediately around our hub at the historic Connelly School site. Your donations will help us purchase the materials and supplies needed for these projects, which will continue after 14 on until completion. And then we'll move on to some other houses! After all, a community is changed for the better one person, one family, and one house at a time.
HOPEtown is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian ministry dedicated to bringing hope to people in Lewisburg and all of Marshall County, TN. We partner with individuals, organizations, churches, and businesses to provide food, clothes, hygiene products, household items, safe shelter for domestic violence victims, temporary financial assistance, personal and family counseling, addiction recovery, educational enrichment activities, community service opportunities, and career assistance for adults and children in need.
