Help Us Turn Hope’s Wish Into Hope for Other Families
We are the parents of three incredible little girls—Harper, Haisley, and Hope. All living with the ultra-rare genetic disorder TBCK syndrome. With only around 170 known cases worldwide, our daughters are the only three siblings known to share this diagnosis.
Living in rural Kentucky, the nearest children’s hospital is three hours away. When our girls become critically ill, our local hospital is the first to care for them. Their doctors and nurses have gone above and beyond to learn about this rare disease and have helped save our daughters’ lives.
When Hope qualified for Make-A-Wish, we knew her wish had to be bigger than us. Because she is nonverbal, we have the honor of being her voice. Her wish is to bring awareness to TBCK syndrome so more children can be diagnosed sooner, while also giving back to the hospital that has saved our girls time and time again.
Our intent is to raise funds for pediatric equipment and resources at our local hospital, as well as personal medical equipment that will help meet our daughters’ ongoing medical needs. Together, these efforts will help ensure children in our rural community have access to better care when every second counts. We also hope to shine a national spotlight on both TBCK syndrome and the importance of supporting rural healthcare.
Donations help us raise awareness, support pediatric care in our hometown, and give hope to other families facing the unimaginable.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing our story is just as meaningful.
Thank you for believing in our girls, our community, and Hope’s wish. Together, we can turn Hope’s wish into hope for countless other families.
