Hope.Inspiraton.Motivation : The Studio Campaign

Yo, what’s up family, it’s Kevin bka Him Over There.

For the last 12 years I been building my brand by striving to provide amazing work and creative inspiration. I’ve built collections, dropped merch, launched brands, and told stories that really mean something. All of it came from a place of Hope. Inspiration. Motivation.

But here’s the truth:

The past couple years have been some of the hardest of my life. I buried 6 close family members, lost friends, moved back home, and fell into a deep depression. I had to step away from creating to focus on my mental health. In that time, I let go of my old studio about a year and a half ago.

Now that I’ve taken the time to heal, I’m ready to get back to the craft that saved my life—and I need help. I’ve been shooting out of rented spots, other people’s studios, and even my living room when I had to. But I know it’s time for a space that isn’t temporary. A place where I can lock in, build, and take this vision all the way up.

The Space I Found

I came across a studio that feels like the one. Open layout, good light, affordable (for Chicago that’s saying a lot). It’s enough room to:

- Shoot content for brands, models, and artists.

- Run workshops on photography, editing, and building your own creative hustle.

- Provide a rental space for other creatives to bring their visions to life.

- Keep growing collections like Blaque’d Out and Casually Offended.

- Bring other creatives in and collab without worrying about 'when the rental ends.'

This ain’t just about four walls. It’s about a headquarters for the next chapter.

What I’m Asking For

To make it happen, I’m raising $5,000. That covers:

- First month’s rent + security deposit.

- Studio setup (backdrops, lights, props).

- Launch event to open the doors and give back to everybody who supported.

This ain’t just for me. This studio is for the culture. When I level up, we all level up. Having this spot means:
