Cure MS/Hope for the Glauner's
Donation protected
We are having a fundraiser, or two, for the medical care necessary for the Glauner family.
See the Facebook Event Page link at the bottom to stay informed of the fundraisers.
In 2002, Rachel was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
In early July, 2015, Rachel was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The surgery was scheduled for July 22, 2015. Rachel came through with flying colors and was discharged early, from the hospital, afterwards. Confirming her husband's affectionate naming of her as a "Rockstar"!
Together they not only are married and business partners, they are also parents. They have three children, Lauren is 13 years old, Nolan is 11 years old and Nathan is 9 years old. The children actively volunteer at the library in Hawley and perform at the Ritz as well as being involved in many other activities.
Rachels recuperation will take a minimum of 6 months during which she cannot drive or work. That leaves Dan to take care of, not only their family of 5, but his mother, who lives with them, but doesn't drive anymore. Therefore, Dan does all the chauffeuring for the family.
Rachel and Dan Glauner were high-school sweethearts, and are respected, loved, and trusted as a married Realtor team with WEICHERT REALTORS, Paupack Group.
They have always been willing to help, now they need our help.
Whether it was for the kids at the Santa Day, or the Relay for Life Annual Yard Sale, they and their whole family were some of the first to show up and last to leave.
We are scheduling a couple of fundraisers for Rachel's medical care, transportation and living costs while she is recuperating from brain surgery and fighting Multiple Sclerosis.
