Hope for The DiMaso's

Donation protected
As many of you may know, our dear JoAnn DiMaso passed away on October 31st, 2018. In the midst of her own battle with cancer, her daughter, Angela DiMaso was recently diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in early October.

Angela is a junior at East Carolina University. She was recently accepted into the nursing program, with hopes of following in her mom’s footsteps by helping others and making a difference in the world. Unfortunately, she has had to take a leave of absence from school while she fights this battle.

Angela has started chemotherapy and travels from Northport to the city to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center twice a week with her dad, Tony. She has a long road of treatments ahead of her, but remains strong and positive about beating this cancer. She is one of the strongest people we have ever met, and she is an inspiration to all of us. At such a young age, she has had to not only lose her mom to this horrible disease, but now be diagnosed herself as well. She has been through so much in her 20 years of life, and we are all very proud of her for staying so strong through it all.

By early 2018 JoAnn had lost her sight and had limited hearing abilities. She was sadly unable to be at Angela's side during these tough times over the past few months. Anyone who knew JoAnn knew that she was the absolute best wife, mom, and friend in the world. She was truly selfless, incredibly kind, and would do anything to help even a stranger in need. She was a truly exceptional woman and will be loved and missed forever.

This is an extremely difficult and trying time for the DiMaso family. We would love to alleviate some of the financial strains and stresses of medical bills by asking for help from our community and beyond. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your time and help, and please keep the DiMaso family in your thoughts and prayers.
