While on a mission's trip to a small village in west Kenya last summer, some of our team members were introduced to Santana. When a few of us returned again this past March, we were asked to medically evaluate her. This sweet girl was badly burned as a young child when she fell into a cooking fire. As a result, she has subsequent scarring and contractures that severely limit the use of her right arm. By God's grace, we have been connected with a Plastic Surgeon at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya who is willing to evaluate her and operate on the contractures. This may require several procedures and we anticipate a 10 to 14-day hospital stay. As an orphan, cared for by her grandmother, we would love to raise funds to cover the travel, lodging and medical expenses for Santana. Please join us! And pray for her healing!
