Shortly after graduating High School in 2014, I was diagnosed with AML(Acute myeloid leukemia) a cancer that affects the blood. I was referred to St.Jude Research hospital in Memphis, TN where I went through a chemo and beat my cancer...for the 1st time. 2017-2018 would be another year fighting AML as I would relapse. This time Having to go through an even more intense chemo treatment and needing a bone marrow transplant. I would be blessed as my brother was a match to be my donor. The transplant end up being a success, but like with all transplants, theres complications. I’m now raising money for living expenses as My bone marrow transplant and treatment have taken toll on my body and I now have gvhd(graph vs host disease) in which the transplant cells attack my host cells. This in turn causes scar tissue to form throughout my body causing decreased mobility and stiffness greatly decreasing quality of life. Triggers of gvhd are high stress and extreme weather conditions. Hoping the money raised here will help cover living expenses, rent, medicine, etc. as my condition makes it difficult To work. The money raised here would help me so I don’t have to focus on the monetary aspects of keeping up with my health and help me focus on preventive measures like my doctor prescribed physical therapy and help me afford an clean organic diet. God Bless!
