Hope for Mary

Mary is the woman people always know they can turn to, with a kind heart and a warm home, she has always been there to help. From taking in family during their hard times and recovery, to standing by and reaching out a hand to friends in need, Mary has always believed in kindness and HOPE. And it is that HOPE she carries with her now through her own recovery.

On Tuesday July 17th, 2018 Mary suffered a massive heart attack while teaching her Zumba class, and was lucky enough to have a dear friend who is a nurse present in the class, who performed CPR and kept up chest compressions for 15 minutes after Mary's heart stopped.

Mary is literally LUCKY to be alive. We're hoping her friends, family, & whoever else can keep her lucky streak going with this fundraiser.  Mary has been struggling to keep herself and her daughter Julianna in their house since leaving a difficult marriage 2 years ago; she works hard as a waitress and Zumba instructor but times have been very difficult, and medical bills and prescription costs will be an inevitable addition to the difficulty while she recovers from her near death experience. We know she will be out of work for at least a few weeks, and will not be able to teach again for even longer.
