Hope For Liberia — Water, Food, Education for Kids

HISTORY
In April of 2019, I was invited to go to Liberia (see video below). I've had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world, but my experience in Liberia deeply affected me. When I came back, I knew that I had to do something to help the people living there.
CURRENT SITUATION
Liberia has recently been rated as the poorest country in the world. People are struggling with the basic necessities such as clean drinking water, food and education.
WHAT WE WANT TO DO
The funds that we're raising will be used to dig wells where clean drinking water is not available—both in towns and remote villages. Due to the poor quality of current water sources, malaria is on the rise again in Liberia. Each well that we dig is sufficient to provide water for up to 5000 people.

Currently, many Liberians aren't able to provide a daily meal for their families because of the extreme poverty. Many can only afford to eat one meal of rice every other day. One of our goals is to provide daily, nutritious meals.

Only 38% of children in Liberia are able to attend school on a regular basis. Part of our vision is to provide scholarships for children to attend school and provide the uniforms and supplies they need.

There are so many needs in Liberia. Funding raised on this platform will also be used for clothing, generators and fuel as there is zero electricity outside the capital.
THANK YOU
Together, we can make a difference in thousands of lives in Liberia.
Every gift counts...every dollar matters.
Please share this! Thank you so much!
