Aid Juliya's Recovery and Business Dream
Donation protected

In May of 2023, Juliya Chernetsky, known to many as Mistress Juliya from her years hosting on FUSE TV, was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer after her first mammogram. She kept her diagnosis very private for months.
Her chemotherapy was delayed as her body rejected two ports - one of which put her into a state of sepsis for which she was hospitalized.
During her chemotherapy, Juliya's father knew she was experiencing depression and wanted to find a way to feel connected with her from another state. He asked her to make him a string of worry beads; something that represented their bond -- from her hands to his hands.
Juliya decided on the name 'Hope Dies Last' -- a belief she had held since she was a young girl of seven as her family escaped the Soviet Union. She enjoyed the calm of researching stones, their healing capabilities, and the focus she had on sourcing and creating the strings of beads that are prevalent in so many cultures, whether they be called mala, rosary, or worry beads.
Juliya ultimately was able to begin radiation in June of 2024, but the 20+ daily rounds of radiation had a very adverse effect and caused her to develop psoriatic arthritis. She has lost significant mobility and feeling in her hands.
Always determined, Juliya has not let this stop her from continuing to create beautiful beaded pieces for her friends and family. She hopes to be able to build 'Hope Dies Last' into a small business where she will continue to personally make custom pieces for sale.
Juliya's extensive treatment and surgery copays cost her over $25,000. My aim, as one of her closest friends for decades, is to help raise $5,000 for Juliya to help offset these debts, and give her the opportunity to further develop 'Hope Dies Last' into a small business that can help her generate the income to fully repay her medical bills.
If you are interested in commissioning a custom piece, you can email Juliya at hopedieslast2024 at gmail dot com.
We thank you in advance for any donations, orders, and shares on social platforms to help get this vibrant woman back on her feet!
