26 miles, on my 26th birthday, 2026…

My name is Hope and I am 25 years old… I told myself this year I wanted to create a bucket list of all the things I wanted to achieve in 2026, that seemed so out of reach. I remember telling myself “i really want to run a marathon”… here I am writing this post 6 months later… i got accepted by the ballot. I will be working really hard to raise money over the next few months for 4 close charities that mean so much to me.

These charities are for “endometriosis foundation” (if anyone knows me personally they will know how much this effects my every day life), “cancer research”, (i lost one of my very special friends to cancer which i am dedicating in memory of), “mind” (for anyone going through mental health, you are not alone and always remember you are enough) and finally, “make a wish foundation” for all the babies and children who are poorly and unwell in hospital (working with children every single day this charity is very close to my heart) - all profits made will be going to these special charities in which you can see above. 2026 - I cannot wait to tick off this bucket list moment for myself. Always remember, if the only thing stopping you is fear… why not get to know it?
