Did you know that Pastor Freddy teaches ten Bible studies every week besides from his regular Sunday service? Did you know that three of those ten he teaches online through Skype? One of those three is with 15-20 pastors in Africa. Because of the time difference, he holds this class every Friday from 1 AM to 2 AM. No. That was not a typo. He is teaching pastors in Africa how to properly read Scriptures while most of us are still asleep. The other two online classes he holds every Tuesday from 2 AM to 3 AM and from 4 AM to 5:30 AM. These classes are with two different groups in the Philippines, both the result of the annual Hope Bible Institute (HBI) Conference in the Philippines.
Pastor Freddy has been pastoring for over 25 years. For those of us who have known him for many years, we know he has the gift of a pastor and has helped us through many challenges in our lives. But 15 years ago, God gave Freddy another gift – the gift to be a teacher of His Word. God gave Freddy a clearer understanding of the Word through doctrinal teaching. This led Freddy to form HBI. He wanted to share what he has learned, not only to Church of Hope (COH), but to anyone who is positive towards the Word of God throughout the world.
HBI is committed to offering online theological training to those who are positive towards Bible Doctrine. HBI does not charge for courses. There are no tuition fees. HBI offers Biblical education from an academic-doctrinal and free grace perspective. HBI believes that there is no other method to achieve godliness and spirituality except through the constant exposure to God’s Word, which leads to spiritual momentum and maturation (Romans 12:2). You can learn more about COH and HBI at www.churchofhopeontheweb.org.
HBI is a ministry, not a business, so it is supported entirely by gifts. Pastor Freddy flies to the Philippines every January to hold an HBI Conference in Taytay. The conferences are attended by over 200 pastors, church leaders, church workers, and members from all over the Philippines.
While in the Philippines, Pastor Freddy also speaks in several churches, visits orphanages, and last year, he visited a Women Correctional Institution, which resulted in our newest satellite school of over 30 students within the prison.
All proceeds will be put towards HBI. We will be glad to provide you with a receipt for your donations upon request.
