Hello, my name is Hussein Raad, and I am organizing this fundraiser in Germany as a volunteer in support of Diyarouna, under the initiative “Space-from People to People.”

Today, many families in Lebanon are living through incredibly difficult circumstances. Recent developments have forced mothers, fathers, children, and elderly individuals to leave their homes and seek safety in temporary shelters, schools, or with relatives and host communities. Many left with almost nothing.

Children are sleeping without proper bedding. Elderly people and those with medical conditions are struggling to access essential medicines. Mothers are trying to provide for their families despite shortages of basic supplies.

At the same time, Ramadan has arrived, a month that is meant to bring peace, dignity, and togetherness. For displaced families, however, it is unfolding under hardship and uncertainty. For those who are fasting, even securing a simple meal to break the fast has become a challenge.

This fundraiser aims to bring both emergency relief and Ramadan support to families in urgent need. Funds will be used to provide:

• Food assistance and Ramadan food parcels

• Baby supplies (diapers, milk, hygiene products)

• Women’s hygiene essentials

• Medicines for children, elderly, and vulnerable individuals

• Mattresses and winter blankets for temporary shelters

In this month of compassion, your support can help restore a sense of dignity, warmth, and hope to families who urgently need it.
