Ken goes to battle against cancer

Kenneth Karr is fighting cancer and needs your help


On April 28th Ken went into a emergency room after being very sick for weeks. By early Saturday morning he was admitted into ICU and having emergency brain surgery to remove a large tumor. He got through that with laughter and smiles but we have a rough road ahead.  He has one more tumor in his brain that surgery would be to risky , more in his lungs and adrenal gland so we are in for a fight but with God all things are possible.

My name is Erin Bolin. Ken is my roommate , my friend and someone who  was kind , compassionate and was a major part in me changing my life.  I watch him time and time again help others expecting nothing in return. He is also a father and grandfather to a beautiful little baby girl.  As Scout Master for a boyscout troop he love youth organizations and helping teenage boys become men . He recently atttended and completed his MBA at UHV at 50 . He always has a positive thing to say and two of his best qualities is how his faith is unshakeable and how he is able to reach others using the kindness in his words. 

 My plan is to be there every step of the way from Dr appointments, Hospital visits , chemo and helping him through the after effects at home.  Im reaching out now for Him bc he needs our support.  He needs prayers, hope and all the love that you have to give to this very special man as he faces radiation and chemotheraphy.

This man can climb this mountain but due to now being unexpectedly unemployable he needs help with everything from hospital bills , Doctors visits, prescription costs and  help with living expenses.  There is no donation too small and everything will be used to make Ken's life more peaceful as he goes through this so he can focus on getting better and not being stressed out. His first hospital bill that was handed to him as he walked out the door was a bit over  $89,000.    I appreciate every one of you so much and I have one more request .
