Help Rebuild Homes Lost to Hurricane Melissa

My name is Roshane, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea for support. I am now living in the UK, but I was born and raised in Jamaica. It breaks my heart to see my homeland in such a devastating state.

Hurricane Melissa recently tore through St. Elizabeth, Jamaica where my family and friends reside, leaving devastation in it's path. Among those hardest hit were my mother and my sister, both of whom lost their homes entirely!

My sister and her children, along with my mother, are now sheltering with neighbours, with no clear path to rebuilding without help.

I’m currently a student, completing a course in Plumbing and Gas Safety. While I am working hard to build a future, and giving what I can, unfortunately I don’t have the financial means to restore what my family has lost and help my commnunity.

That’s why I am asking for your help, to rebuild and furnish their homes, and to provide clothing and essential living materials like bedding, cookware, and hygiene supplies.

We have organised that that funds will go to a special prepaid accounts, organised with la ocal Hardware store in St Elizabeth. They will provide the materials individuals needed to rebuild thier shelter. These are not luxuries, they are the foundation of dignity, safety, and stability.

Your support can make a life-changing difference.

Every donation, every share, every act of kindness brings us one step closer to restoring comfort and hope for the families who urgently need it.

Thank you for standing with us.
