My name is Holly and I am the neice of Hope Piehuta, I am starting a page to help my Aunt get through this difficult time she has encountered. She started out being very ill which was thought to be pneumonia, after many trips to the er and doctors, it was figured out that she has lung cancer. Going forward to today she has Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer while also finding she has possibly 3 tumors. She is going on her 6th cycle of chemo and also now radiation. She has been traveling to Amsterdam about 3 times a week to recieve treatment, that has been making her very ill. However, even though she has been dealing with the stress of not feeling well and only having one income her positivity has been amazing. As we all know my Aunt Hope is a fun, very outgoing, and social woman. She has been so strong though this whole thing, it amazes me that she has been so upbeat and positive even when things have gotten tough. She would do anything to help somebody else in need, thats why we need to try to step up and give her the help that she needs to fight this battle with cancer. It has been a stressful time on her and her family with the bills that her insurance isn't covering and copays as well as her everyday living expenses. As insurance covers most of her visits there are times that her husband needs to take time off of work to take her as she spends many hours getting chemo and is unable to drive herself.

  We need to come together and giver her the strength to get through this very tough situation.
