Aside from my wife’s tenaciousness it’s because of fund raising that she is still here today and once again as much as I hate to do it we’re asking for your help.
After multiple hospital trips as of late due to complications from her latest treatment and a recent scan which revealed there has bee growth and her treatment in Germany is no longer working.
This means we have had to change her treatment, as always the UK have no options for Hope.
Hope is 34 otherwise healthy, has been teaching yoga up until recently and is too young and strong minded to roll over and accept that nothing can be done.
Through research Hope has now found a specialist integrative hospital in Delhi, India. The Art of Healing Cancer centre in India is a fully integrative clinic where hope will receive personalised treatment based on her liquid biopsy she has recently had done - allowing a precise cocktail of conventional drugs combined with holistic therapies to be formulated, to give her body a chance to continue fighting the cancer while allowing her lungs to heal.
Life has once again been flipped upside down and between myself and Hopes family we will be splitting our time to be with her as she will need to be there for 16 weeks.
We are so lucky to have such a supportive network, so all my friends have come together and we will be taking on the 100K Ultra March along the Jurassic coast in May. There are various options on how you choose to complete it, such as stopping for meals or camping overnight but in order to be as worthy of your sponsorship we are going for the non-stop 100k in 24 hours.
We have received so much support over the years and I must reiterate our deepest gratitude for allowing my wife to continue her fight. Hope believes it is her purpose to be here and to keep inspiring hope in others and helping them through her lived experience. We need to keep her here and for that, once more, we ask for your help.
