As a volunteer at Agape since 7th grade, I have seen firsthand how a lack of basic school supplies can hold students back from reaching their full potential. Many children in our local Title I schools arrive each day without the essential materials they need—pencils, notebooks, backpacks, and more. These gaps make it harder for them to focus on learning and to feel confident in the classroom. I remember working with an elementary student who had extremely limited supplies, and I saw similar situations with many others. These experiences compelled me to start my initiative, Hope in Hand, because every student deserves adequate supplies so they can focus on learning.

Hope in Hand is a nonprofit I founded to address this urgent need. Our mission is to supply school materials to underfunded Title I schools and to ensure that every child has the tools to achieve their academic dreams. Through donations and partnerships, we strive to equip students with essential supplies to ensure that every student has a level playing field when engaging in their studies. The funds raised will be used to purchase supplies in bulk and distribute them directly to students in need, as well as to provide resources to schools so they can buy what is most needed for their classrooms.
