Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to hear our story.

Growing our family has been a long, painful, and at times a hopeful journey that has come with many ups and downs. Over the years we’ve experienced multiple pregnancy losses of our own, each one heartbreaking in its own way. We’ve tried fertility clinics on our own and have done everything from natural remedies, vitamins, to multiple medications attempts and adjustments from our doctors.

We’ve walked the path of surrogacy before in 2021, and our wonderful surrogate at the time miscarried our little girl at 20 weeks, a loss that affected all of us deeply. This one was especially rough on us, as we had already been planning on what we would name her to what themes we would have in her nursery. We had already created a birth plan for delivery with the bio mother, and we’re dreaming about the day we would bring her home.

We are beyond blessed to have our sweet,sassy, and amazing 8-year-old daughter, Harper that we were fortunate enough to have adopted at birth. We were very fortunate by being able to walk the pregnancy and birth path with her biological mother and be able to watch her flourish since day one.

Many of you also know that we fostered a wonderful little boy, Greg, for 3.5 years. We truly believed he would be with us forever. But sadly when his biological mother regained her rights, we had to let him go. That was another kind of heartbreak — a different loss, but just as heavy. One day we will hopefully see him again.

Then we have our newest addition with our 8-year-old nephew, Brayton who came to us last year with high special needs, that we are hopefully in the midst of adopting to one day be our son, even though he’s already our son in our hearts. He is non verbal autistic, with special behavioral needs. Even though some days can be challenging we wouldn’t trade him for the world. His love is a different kind of love that not everybody gets to experience.

The two of them fill our home with love, laughter, and purpose. They are our everything and more, but our hearts still feel like there is one more piece missing to complete our family puzzle. We’ve always thought we would have one more to experience that “last first” smile, that “last first”giggle, that “last first” word, that “last first” step, all of those “last first” that we got to experience with Harper. Even though we got to experience all of those things once before, we never realized that that was going to be the last time we would get to experience it.

We’ve now found an incredible surrogate who is ready and excited to help us try again. She believes in us, she believes in this baby, and she’s standing with us in hope.

However, now the challenge we are facing is the financial reality of IVF, medical procedures, and surrogacy-related expenses. After everything we’ve poured into this journey — emotionally, physically, and financially — over the past few years we’re at a place where we need help to take the next step.

We’re asking for support, whether through donating or simply sharing our story, to give this next attempt the chance it deserves. Even contribution brings us one step closer to holding the baby we have dreamt about holding in our arms for so many years.
