Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I’m 23 years old. Almost three years ago, my life changed when I became sick with Lyme disease and co-infections. Since then, I’ve been living with chronic pain, ongoing fatigue, and a weakened immune system — things that quietly affect nearly every part of daily life.

Lyme has taken more than I ever expected. It’s taken pain-free sleep. It’s taken the ease of socializing and showing up in the world the way I used to. It’s meant spending hundreds of dollars every month on supplements, medications, and treatments just to function at a “moderately normal” level.

But as 2026 begins, I’ve reached a turning point. This is me saying no — no to letting this illness continue to define what my future looks like, and yes to fighting for my health and my life back.

After years of trying different treatments without lasting success, I’ve found a promising, more aggressive treatment program in Colorado. It offers real hope, but it comes with a significant cost — approximately $14,000 CAD for this part of six-week treatment.
