This is my kitty, Rexy girl! She all of a sudden stopped eating last week and started persistently vomiting for 7 days straight. We have taken her to her general vet twice now and they were unable to find anything wrong and failed at getting her to eat. I have learned that cats run the risk of multi-organ failure if they do not eat for an extended period of time and we may be nearing that window if we cannot continue to get tests and keep her stable in the meantime. She is now at a specialty ER getting more tests run to hopefully figure out what is wrong and be able to get her back to good health and eating. This has been a very stressful and scary week as well as expensive with vet bills starting to amount. If you are feeling generous, anything would help! We just want our Rexy girl to feel better soon!
