Our dear friend Erika is facing an unimaginably difficult journey. After courageously battling breast cancer, she recently learned that it has returned in a devastating way. What began as severe back pain turned out to be a fractured L1 vertebra. Tests revealed that the fracture was caused by a cancerous lesion, with other suspicious spots shown on scans.

Despite this heartbreaking news, Erika remains determined, strong, and full of hope. She has chosen to pursue specialized treatment in Mexico, where she will receive the care and options that give her the best chance at healing. This path, however, comes with significant expenses - travel, medical costs, and other related needs that are not covered here at home.

Erika has always been the kind of person who gives generously to others - through friendship, kindness, and her unshakable spirit. Now it’s our turn to walk beside her.
