We never imagined we’d be in a position where we’d have to ask for help, but today, we are facing a very difficult time.

Cooper is our 12 year old dog and the heart of our home. He has brought us so much unconditional love, comfort, and laughter over the years. He truly is the best dog in the world. Cooper is loyal, gentle, and always full of joy.

Tonight, after coming home from work, I noticed Cooper showing alarming signs of weakness and neurological distress. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where we learned that the tumor on his liver has grown rapidly into his stomach. Cooper was diagnosed with cancer two years ago. The doctors also suspect a possible brain tumor, which could explain his sudden neurological symptoms.

So far, just for overnight care and initial bloodwork, we’re already facing nearly $4,000 in medical bills. An MRI is scheduled for tomorrow to give us more answers.

We understand that Cooper is 12, and we are keeping his comfort and quality of life as our top priorities. We will not put him through unnecessary pain or procedures but we need to understand what’s happening to make the right decision for him.
