My name is Kenzie, and I am creating this GoFundMe for my best friend, Kaci.

Yesterday, Kaci woke to every parent’s worst nightmare — her one-month-old baby boy, Bodhi, was having a medical emergency. CPR was performed, and he was rushed by ambulance to the nearest hospital. He has since been transported to Boise, where he is now in a coma, fighting for his life.

At this time, there are no answers as to what caused this heartbreaking event. While Kaci sits by Bodhi’s side, she is also a devoted mom to her three other young children at home. She is one of the most loving, selfless mothers I know, and this is an unimaginable weight for her to carry.

I created this fundraiser in hopes of lifting some of the financial burden so Kaci can focus fully on her baby and family during this time. Funds will go toward travel, food, childcare, and other unexpected expenses that come with such a crisis.
