Hope, Healing, and Love: Support Galilee's Care
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out with hearts full of love and hope for our precious daughter, Galilee, born on May 3, 2024. Her arrival brought light into our lives, coming just three weeks before we mourned the loss of her grandpa. While she has been a source of immense joy, her journey has already been marked by unexpected challenges.
Initially, doctors believed Galilee had multiple craniosynostosis—a serious condition where the sutures in her skull fuse prematurely—because her sutures appeared so tiny. But further testing revealed a glimmer of hope: her sutures aren’t fused but overlapping. This means there’s a chance to help her grow and develop without invasive brain surgery, but it requires urgent and ongoing care.
Galilee is already undergoing osteopathic, chiropractic, and physical therapies to keep her sutures open and support her growth. These therapies are absolutely vital to her development and could be the key to avoiding surgery. Additionally, further testing, including genetic studies, is needed to determine the underlying cause of her low muscle tone and guide her long-term care.
This journey is far from over. Galilee has a long road ahead, including neurological appointments, occupational therapy, oral/motor therapy, and more. These therapies and tests are not covered by insurance, creating a significant financial burden for our young family. We feel deeply honored to serve in ministry, which has allowed us to witness our community flourish in love and connection. Now, we humbly reach out to this growing community, asking for your support during this difficult time.
Your support will directly fund:
• Ongoing osteopathic, chiropractic, and physical therapies
• Genetic testing and specialized neurological care
• Occupational and oral/motor therapies
Galilee has already shown incredible strength and resilience. With your generosity, we can give her the best possible chance to grow, thrive, and avoid invasive surgery. Whether you can contribute financially or simply share our story, you are helping us provide her with the care she desperately needs.
Thank you for being part of Galilee’s story and for lifting us up during this challenging time. We are endlessly grateful for your love, prayers, and support.
