Hi, my name is Shannon. I’m raising money for a medically necessary surgery that isn’t covered by my insurance.

On April 28th, I went to the emergency room because of severe abdominal pain. After testing and imaging, I learned that the tumor on my ovary—which I’ve been monitoring—has grown significantly and is now 10 cm in size. It's changing in concerning ways, and I'm now in constant pain because of it.

My doctor has advised surgery as soon as possible. Unfortunately, my insurance only covers preventive care and not surgeries, so I’m responsible for the full cost out of pocket.

The total cost of the procedure is $10,000. I’ve been able to cover $1,000 so far, but I need help raising the rest. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help me move one step closer to relief and healing.
