Hope for Zander: A Miracle Baby’s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Our sweet miracle baby, Zander James Rice, was born on February 4th — ten days ahead of his Valentine’s Day due date, and seven years in the making.
Zander’s journey into this world is nothing short of extraordinary. After a cervical cancer diagnosis left his mother, Jessica, facing infertility, she and her husband James turned to IVF in a race against time. Against all odds, one embryo was created — their "#maybebaby" — and remained frozen until last year, when Jessica’s sister, Rebecca, selflessly became their surrogate. Zander arrived safely, full of hope, love, and all the dreams a family can hold.
But just a few weeks into his life, Zander was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). Our tiny warrior, who overcame so much just to be here, is now facing a battle no baby should ever have to fight.
We’re asking for your help as Zander begins intensive treatment. The emotional and financial toll of pediatric cancer is overwhelming. James and Jessica are juggling hospital stays, medical decisions, time away from work, and simply trying to stay strong for their son. Every donation will go toward easing that burden — helping with medical expenses, transportation, meals, and keeping the family together during the long months ahead.
Zander is a fighter. He’s already proven that miracles are possible. With your support, we believe he can overcome this, too.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for standing with Zander.
