Thanks to your incredible and generous support, Wu was able to receive his life-saving eye surgery (6/18/20) and dental surgery (2/9/21)!
After his two surgeries and extensive treatments, I thought this poor boy was finally in the clear. But, on Saturday (4/10/21), Wu needed another life-saving emergency surgery to clear a blockage. Between the surgery, medications, and extended hospital stay, Wu's hospital bill was higher than his eye and dental surgeries combined!
Wu is a fighter and I will never give up on him. Unfortunately, I have spent all that I have and more on his ongoing care since Sept 2019. I wish I didn't have to reach out again for support since you have already been so generous in giving him a longer and healthier life.
If you are able to share his story of resilience (and donate if you can - no amount is too small!), we would be so grateful!
We wouldn't have been able to get this far without your love and support -- we love you all!

Wu's Story
Since September 2019, my sweet Wu has been fighting chronic uveitis, Bartonella disease, toxoplasmosis disease, and feline herpesvirus — all sadly the result of his former life as a stray.
Even with his complex daily treatment regimen and weekly Ophthalmologist visits, the diseases ravaged Wu’s eyes and teeth — rendering him mostly blind (with glaucoma and chronic corneal ulcers) and causing severe dental damage.

::Wu needs to have EXTENSIVE EYE AND DENTAL SURGERY as soon as possible to relieve his ongoing pain and suffering.::
Every $1 will help Wu have a chance at a happy and healthy life again!

These surgeries come at a particularly challenging time as I lost my job in March 2020 due to COVID-19. I have given all that I can to his ongoing care but need some help! I realize that there are so many causes you could be supporting right now. So, I am INFINITELY grateful for your consideration and generosity!

I cannot imagine my life without Wu.
He is so much more than a cat to me: he is my son, my best friend, my everything.
People may say that I rescued Wu, but he truly rescued me.
He has cared for me during some of the most difficult times in my life, easing my anxiety and PTSD and comforting me during flare ups. He brightens every day with his playful antics and his unconditional love for his sister, Savannah. He even nursed Savannah back to health after her rescue, never leaving her side (and hasn’t ever since). Most importantly, he taught me to love again when I didn’t think it was possible.

I promise to keep you updated about his health and progress with photos along the way!
