One of my dear friends and her daughter True are in need of prayers at this time. I have known Brandy for over 20 years now. When you've known someone for that long they turn into family. I consider Brandy a sister, we've shared laughs, cries and walked through some of the toughest storms.Brandy has always been the type of person to help others in need, always there when you need to talk and has some of the best cooking. When we were younger we talked about what it would be like when we were older and starting families of our own. We never thought that it would come with so many obstacles that life has recently given my dear friend Brandy. She is a single mother of 4 children. Two boys and 2 girls.
On the day of September 12,2020 Brandy's youngest child True was faced with a battle that no
child should ever have to face . On this day True had complaints of a tummy ache and difficulty going to the bathroom. By September 14th Brandy felt there was something more wrong and took True to the ER of Kaiser Permanente with complaints of constipation. She was diagnosed with an enlarged liver at this time and the Physisian scheduled ultrasound for September 21,2020. During the unltrasound Brandy was told by the Physician that True had a Tumor on her kidney. Being faced with the unexpected news it took Brandy through an emotionally rollercoaster and filled with questions and also how she was going to explain to her 5 year old child everything that she was about to face. After CT scans , bloodwork and debulking. One September 24th True was diagnosed with stage 3 Kidney Cancer called Wilms' Tumor. At this time it is the size of an orange.

She is now starting Chemotherapy for the next 10 weeks. Brandy is such a strong mother and her daughter is even stronger and will get through this time and continue to be the bright, bubbly sassy girl who is loved by many and will continue to fight beside her. Thank you in advance for prayers and anything you can do to help. Deeply appreciated.
