Hope for this Tragedy –Join Us in Supporting the family

I’m organizing this fundraiser as a close family friend to support the Jarmon/Martin family during this unimaginable tragedy.

The family is still desperately seeking answers as they continue the search for their loved ones. This fundraiser is intended to help ease some of the immediate stress and support them in navigating the difficult weeks and months ahead.

On the night of July 4th, catastrophic flooding swept through Sandy Creek near Windy Valley Road in Leander, TX. Tragically, Braxton (15), Felicity (16), and their stepmother, Alissa Martin, were carried away by the floodwaters when their home was overtaken. All three remain missing.

The family is heartbroken, and while the community has come together in prayer and support, there will be pressing and ongoing needs — including costs related to search efforts, temporary housing, and daily essentials. Braxton was confirmed to have recovered yesterday and is sadly deceased. Felicity and Alissa remain missing.

The family is devastated. While the community has come together in prayer and support, there are still pressing and ongoing needs — including costs related to continued search efforts, temporary housing, daily essentials, and other unforeseen expenses.

It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share an update no one ever wanted to make.

After days of desperate searching, it has been confirmed that the two children and their bonus mom tragically did not survive the devastating floods that overtook their home on July 4th in Sandy Creek near Windy Valley Road in Leander, TX.

The outpouring of love, support, and prayers from the community has meant more to the family than words can express. Thank you for holding space for them in your hearts during these past few days and for standing beside them in this time of profound grief.

At the request of the family, the funds raised through this GoFundMe will now be used to support final arrangements and help relieve the financial burden on the children's parents, siblings, and grandparents as they begin to navigate life after this tragic loss.

Mrs. Francis, the children's grandmother, has been added as the campaign's beneficiary. She will be working directly with the family to ensure all funds are used as intended — to cover memorial and funeral expenses and to support the household during this incredibly difficult time.
