Dear friends and community

If you know Jacob and Kate, you already know this: they are the kind of people who fight for others, show up when no one else does, and give without hesitation—never expecting anything in return.

Now, they need us to show up for them.  

On March 12th, Jacob will undergo coronary artery bypass grafting surgery, a major procedure that will require 5–10 days in the hospital and a 6–12 week recovery. While they are grateful their medical expenses will be capped at $9,200 out-of-pocket, they have not yet been able to cover this amount.

At the same time, their only family vehicle—which they rely on daily for their family of six, including Jacob’s 75-year-old mother—needs an engine replacement costing $5,000–$10,000. Right now, a kind friend has loaned them a temporary car, but it only seats five, making it impossible for their whole family to travel together. With Jacob’s surgery and recovery ahead, a dependable vehicle is critical for medical appointments, daily needs, and keeping life moving.

How We Can Help

Jacob and Kate have spent their lives giving, supporting, and loving others—now it’s our turn to support them. Our goal is to:

✅ Eliminate the financial burden of Jacob’s surgery ($9,200)

✅ Secure a safe, reliable vehicle for their family ($5,000–$10,000)

We are asking you to be a part of this.

     •    If you can’t give financially, share this. Pray. Show up however you can.  

Every dollar and every share helps lift this burden off their shoulders. Let’s Show Up for Jacob & Kate Jacob’s surgery and recovery will be a challenge, and balancing that with the stress of a broken-down vehicle only makes it harder. They would never ask for help themselves, but this is one of those seasons where community makes all the difference.
