My name is Mozamel Elkurdi, and I’m starting this fundraiser with a heavy heart but also with hope.

For millions of people in Sudan, home has become a memory. Families have been forced to flee overnight. Children have stopped going to school. Parents wake up each day unsure how they will find food, clean water, or medicine for their loved ones.

This war has destroyed homes, hospitals, markets, and entire communities. What hurts the most is that the people suffering are ordinary civilians mothers, fathers, elders, and children who had no part in the conflict but are paying the highest price.

I am raising funds to support Sudanese people who are struggling to survive and rebuild their lives after the devastation. These donations will help provide:

Emergency food and clean drinking water

Medical care and essential medicines

Shelter support for displaced families

Basic supplies for children and vulnerable individuals

For those who lost everything, even small help can mean safety, dignity, and hope. A meal can keep a child alive. Medicine can save a parent. Shelter can protect a family from starting over on the streets.

I cannot stop the war but together, we can reduce the suffering it leaves behind.

I want to be fully transparent: I will be traveling to Egypt, where many Sudanese families have sought refuge, and I will personally distribute all funds collected directly to families in need, focusing on basic necessities and emergency support. I will share updates as the aid is delivered.
