Hello everyone. My name is Miah. I am starting a GoFundMe for my incredibly resilient mother, Shawna. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer that has also spread to both lymph nodes. She has been experiencing severe chest pain and has been in and out of the hospital for the past year for scans and testing. Now that she has been informed that she needs immediate mastectomy surgery, this will be very challenging, but we know she will emerge stronger. The recovery from the surgery will be an estimated six weeks, and she may need to undergo chemotherapy after her mastectomy surgery. As a hairdresser, the thought of losing her beautiful hair is daunting, but we know her beauty shines from within. During this challenging time, she also has a business to run, and the money raised will go towards operating costs until she recovers from her battle.
