Hope for Samuel!! Samuel was diagnosed in August of 2025 with an AVM-ARTERIOVENOUS malformation of the brain and an AV fistula on his scalp. Drs originally were going to do six to eight small surgeries then do the big surgery to go in and remove the AVM. However after two small surgeries they deemed his AVM inoperable and too medically complex to remove. They we're looking to do radiation as a last and only option to save his life. We decided to start looking for Dr's who specialize in complex and difficult AVMS. We found one of the very best at Stanford University School of Medicine in California. They have reviewed all of Samuels records, consulted with their board and decided they CAN HELP!!! They are willing to take Samuel on as a patient!! This is the very best news we could get!! We now have HOPE!! And after months and months of none this is such a gift!!! We feel like we can take a big breath and let some much needed relief in day to day life. We have struggled so much emotionally, this is such good news!!! But now we need to raise money to get to California and stay there for a bit!!
