Hope for Richard: Critical Health Battle & Recovery Journey

I have created this GoFundMe in the hope of reaching the hearts of many—whether through a donation or a prayer—for my brother, Richard Uvalle.

Richard has been courageously battling multiple serious health conditions. After a long struggle with diabetes, he underwent a leg amputation last year. Since then, his health has continued to decline, and he has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, kidney failure, and pericardial effusion. These conditions have required numerous surgeries and hospitalizations, placing a significant financial burden on our family.

Despite everything, Richard has remained resilient. While on his way to visit a friend in his wheelchair, he was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. He sustained critical injuries and fell into a coma. Although he is now slowly regaining consciousness, he faces a long road to recovery and is preparing to undergo multiple surgeries.

Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but the rising medical costs have become overwhelming. Any support you can offer—whether financial or through your thoughts and prayers—means the world to us and would go a long way in helping Richard during this incredibly difficult time.
