Hope for Patty Encinas: Cancer & Crisis Relief
Donation protected
Patty was recently diagnosed GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor), a rare type of cancer that arises from the cells lining the digestive tract—and has metastasized to the liver. This comes just a few years after she courageously overcame breast cancer in 2019. Despite her pain, fatigue, and ongoing medical uncertainty, Patty continues to show up for her students, her coworkers, and her family. Her resilience is nothing short of inspiring.
Patty is 55 years old, a devoted wife to her husband Augie, and a proud mother to four children: twins Alexi and Nomar, Vanessa, and Augie Jr. While she fights through daily exhaustion, radiating pain, and severe loss of appetite, her medical provider is delaying treatment for another three weeks as they await additional biopsy results.
In the meantime, Patty and her family are also displaced from their home due to a recent flood. They are currently living at a DoubleTree Hotel while insurance works to assess the damage and timeline for repairs.
Patty is exploring holistic options such as Ozone therapy, which shows promise but is not covered by insurance and comes with high costs. She and her family are in urgent need of financial support to cover:
-Medical and holistic treatment costs
-Temporary housing and daily living expenses
-Travel for medical appointments
-Critical support for her family during this uncertain time
Patty has always given her all to everyone around her. It’s our turn to give back. Every donation, share, and prayer brings hope and relief to a woman who truly deserves it.
