Please help support my parents during this very difficult time.

Over the past several months, our mom has been battling an overwhelming number of serious health issues that have completely changed her—and our family’s—daily life. She has been in and out of the hospital, fighting for stability while her body faces one challenge after another.

She has end stage chronic lung disease, including bronchiectasis and a nearly non-functional right lung, along with thoracic cage disorder and restrictive lung disease, which make it extremely difficult for her to breathe. She also has severe asthma, sarcoidosis, and fibromyalgia, as well as a history of spinal fractures, scoliosis and malnutrition due to severe allergies and food sensitivities.

In recent months, she’s been hospitalized for:

• Acute respiratory failure

• Dangerously low sodium levels (hyponatremia) which lead to a seizure and life support

She is fighter and no longer on life support but is under constant care and monitoring. My dad has retired early to be by her side full-time. Between hospital stays, specialist visits, medications, and home care needs, the medical expenses have quickly grown overwhelming.

We are starting this fundraiser to help cover:

• Ongoing hospital bills

• Medications, supplements, and home supplies

• In-home support and equipment
