Our daughters, Nova (3) and Denver (1.5), are the bravest little girls we know. They both live with Dravet syndrome — a rare, catastrophic form of epilepsy that causes relentless seizures every single day. Some days, Nova can have hundreds. Denver is already showing the same challenges her big sister faces.

Dravet syndrome affects nearly every part of their lives. Simple joys like playing in the sun, visiting family, or even riding in the car can trigger dangerous seizures. We do everything possible to keep them safe — but the reality is, this rare diagnosis comes with staggering medical, equipment, and therapy costs.

Dravet syndrome is a beast. It brings frequent, prolonged seizures that can be life-threatening, along with developmental delays, mobility challenges, and daily medical needs. Caring for one child with Dravet is overwhelming — caring for two means every day is a battle we fight together as a family.
