❤️ A Son’s Ask: Hope for My Mom ❤️
My mom, Norys, was recently diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of colon cancer—mucinous adenocarcinoma. She’s just 57, full of warmth, strength, and love.
I haven’t seen her since 2018 due to geopolitical restrictions. I can’t hold her hand, hug her, or kiss her—and the fear of never getting that chance again breaks me.
Doctors say surgery isn’t possible yet—the tumor is too close to major blood vessels. Our only option is chemotherapy to try to shrink it. But in Venezuela, treatment costs between $2,000–$3,000/month—far beyond what we can manage.
❤️ So I’m asking for help—from my community, from runners I’ve raced with, from anyone willing to listen. ❤️
What She Needs:
Chemo meds: Eritropoyetina, Granocyte, Palonosetron, Aprepitant
Pain and nausea relief
IV fluids, syringes, gloves, Vitamin C
Nutritional support
Ongoing checkups and transport
***Every dollar, every share, every kind word matters. Thank you for standing with us.***
