Hope for Natasha

Hi! My name is Jasmine. Natasha is a daughter, a dedicated partner, an Auntie, a friend, a loving Mom, and my big sister. Although she is and will always have these roles, she has lost the opportunity over the last few years to embody the most important role in any person's life; herself. What started as a bought of fatigue in fall 2021, has transpired slowly and painfully into the chronically painful world she is living in today. The medical system at the time was strained and as doctors attempted to help, she was misdiagnosed and wrongfully medicated several times for several different autoimmune disorders. Recently, in May, after a chronically postponed brain and spinal scan, Natasha was diagnosed with a Posterior Pituitary Microadenoma or a tumor of her pituitary gland. The brain and spinal scan also found considerable brain damage in the globus pallidus of the brain and degenerative disc disease at L5-S1. Since she has met with a team of Endocrinologists to make a treatment plan for the tumor, and after more tests, they found that she has Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency, which being untreated for so long, is likely the cause of the brain damage. On top of these conditions, she has also been confirmed to have Premature Ovarian Failure, Hashimotos Disease, Systemic Capillary Leak Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Myositosis. Although we are SO grateful for answers and a diagnosis that finally makes sense, the path back to any bit of normalcy is long, hard, and costly. With Natasha’s rising medical bills and the constantly increasing cost of living, she needs help. She needs help to keep food on the table and a roof over the head of herself and her family. We are working towards getting governement assistance for the loss of wages and the debt that has been caused by her overwhelmingly intense onset of all of these conditions. Unfortunately, wait times are long, processing times are insane, and as we wait, the bills only grow.
We started this fundraiser in the hope to get Natasha to the Mayo Clinic for a less invasive removal of her brain tumor. We are adjusting our goal because it's not just the tumor that is crushing her quality of life right now, the real weight is the financial stress and debt that her lack of income has caused. The plethora of conditions and diseases that her body hosts is stressful enough, she shouldn't have to worry about her family not having a home. Please help Natasha recover financially so her body can focus on healing. We are so grateful for your support ❤️
Funds raised will go towards our priority of maintaining roof over Natasha and familys heads and transportation for her to and from medical appointments. Your generous donations will go to:
- Debts incurred from loss of income (car insurance, car payments, mortgage payments, property taxes)
- current costs of living (mortgage, utilities, internet, groceries etc.)
- dance classes for her teenage daughter
