Dear friends,
Nagappan Alagappan is a devoted father of two, a beloved husband and an amazing co-worker.
On Saturday 2/15 Nagappan and his family’s life changed rapidly. He had a stroke that has paralyzed the right side of his body with accompanying speech loss.
He is currently in a critical care unit of the hospital undergoing intensive medical treatment.
The doctors have indicated severe, potentially irreversible damage to the left side of his brain.
They are continuing to monitor his brain for cerebral edema (fluid in the brain) which can result in further loss of brain capacity and would require surgery to relieve pressure.
Nagappan, is such a loved person who has never known how to say no for anything you ask.
He stretches himself beyond his abilities and our imagination to go out of the way to help others whether it's friend, colleague or community.
He has a loving kind-hearted wife, Devi and two young daughters who are still in middle school.
He is the lone earner in his family. Getting through this critical care period and the subsequent therapy for him is going take a severe financial toll.
This fund is to assist his family through this period for short term recovery and long-term rehabilitation medical needs.
