Hope for Nabin! The Malla Family

Hello everyone! Nabin is a 46-year-old, a single breadwinner of his family of wife Sonika Hada Malla, and their loving seven-year-old boy Neer. Nabin had some discomfort and decided to do scans only to be faced with a harrowing pancreatic cancer. His family is devastated! Nabin and his family face an arduous battle, both emotionally as well as financially. A small group of Nabin’s friends and family are helping them, but we have come to a point where we need to lean into getting help from a larger community.

Duke Cancer Hospital’s MRI result confirmed the pancreatic tail tumor. Nabin has been recommended to Dr. Daniel Alexander Laheru in Baltimore. He faces a long and expensive journey with bills of cancer treatments. Every dollar of your contribution will be used to cover the extraordinary costs of fighting this disease and help his family keep a roof over their head.

Nabin has humble beginnings; he moved to the US in 2009 from Nepal. He has been a loving father and a caring figure in this community. He is ever-present in Nepalese social events in the Raleigh Nepalese community. We will forever be grateful for your contributions; your help will touch his life.
