My name is Isaac Adams, and I’m reaching out to my friends, family, and community to ask for help supporting my mom as she faces one of the hardest battles of her life.

Recently, my mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic and often unpredictable disease that affects the central nervous system and can impact mobility, vision, and daily functioning. This diagnosis has brought sudden and overwhelming changes to her health, her independence, and her ability to work.

Not long after her diagnosis, my mom was let go from her government job, which meant losing the stable income and health coverage she relied on. She was able to secure new insurance, but multiple doctors’ offices have refused to accept it, leaving her stuck between needing urgent care and having no realistic way to access it.

We are raising funds to help cover her mounting medical expenses, including specialist visits, imaging, medications, and ongoing treatment that are either out-of-network or not covered at all. Your support will also help with related costs like transportation to appointments and essential living expenses while she fights to stabilize her health and navigate new benefits and assistance programs.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward:

• Paying outstanding and upcoming medical bills not covered by insurance.

• Helping her access MS specialists and treatments that are currently out of reach due to her insurance barriers.
