My name is Ahmad El-Saigaly, and I am a husband and father living in Gaza with my wife and our young daughter. We are an ordinary family trapped in an extraordinary crisis — struggling every day just to stay alive.

I was born and raised in Gaza. This land is my home, and it is where I have built my life and started a family. But today, our home has become unrecognizable. The war has left us surrounded by destruction, fear, and loss. Our streets are filled with rubble, our neighbors are displaced or gone, and the sound of airstrikes has become part of our daily existence.

This campaign is for the people I love most in this world — my wife and our daughter. We are not connected to any organization. I am simply a father trying to protect his child in one of the most dangerous places on earth right now. We live in central Gaza, one of the hardest-hit areas in recent months, where access to food, clean water, electricity, medicine, and even shelter is either extremely limited or completely unavailable.

Our daughter is still so young. She doesn’t understand what is happening. She wakes up in the night crying because of the explosions. She asks questions we cannot answer. We try to comfort her, but the truth is — we are scared too. Every day we wonder if we will survive to see the next.

My wife is doing everything she can to hold us together emotionally. But the weight of war, hunger, cold, and uncertainty is something no family should have to bear — especially not one with a small child. We are doing everything in our power to endure, but we simply cannot do it alone anymore.

That’s why I am asking for your help — to help my family survive.

What We Need:

Food and clean drinking water

Diapers, baby formula, and warm clothes for our daughter

Essential hygiene supplies

Urgent medical needs and treatment

Temporary safe shelter within Gaza

And if the situation allows, the cost of evacuation and emergency resettlement to a safer place

These are not luxuries — they are the basic things that every child, every mother, every family should have. But for us, they have become out of reach.

How the Funds Will Reach Us:

Because of the financial restrictions and the collapse of systems in Gaza, I am unable to receive funds directly through local banking channels. For this reason, my cousin, who lives in Germany, has generously agreed to act as the trusted receiver of your donations. He will withdraw the funds on my behalf through this GoFundMe campaign and send the money to me directly using secure and reliable transfer methods that are still functioning in Gaza — such as Western Union or approved aid corridors.
