After a long two and a half month hospitalization battling pneumonia, septic shock and multi-organ dysfunction, Mary has finally returned home to be with her family. After making it through an eleven day medically induced coma and several surgeries following complex pulmonary infections, Mary’s plan is to stay strong and hopeful for a positive outcome regarding a recent diagnosis of Leukemia. She is very weak and still recovering from extensive issue with sepsis. Therefore, she is not a candidate for chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant at this time. In order to help fulfill mom’s wishes and continue to assist her in this battle for her life we are requesting financial assistance to afford her medical bills, caregiving assistance and resume alternative cancer treatments while on palliative care.
