Lourdes Sánchez es una joven de 24 años, egresada de la Universidad Católica en Artes Audiovisuales y a punto de graduarse. Ella nació con el síndrome Klipel-Trenaunay-Weber y eso siempre le ha traído dolor y complicaciones en su cadera y pierna derecha. El día 1 de Mayo, estando en EEUU, sus piernas perdieron total sensibilidad y dejaron de funcionar su vejiga e intestinos.
Lourdes ha pasado por una serie de exámenes, 2 operaciones complicadas, y aún queda un largo camino para poder recuperarse. Dado que no hay seguro que cubra condiciones congénitas, los gastos médicos son muy altos y necesitan cubrirse para seguir con el resto de tratamiento e intervenciones.

Paulina Mero es la tía de María Lourdes Sánchez. Vive en Miami, y actualmente Enrique Sánchez, el papá de Lu, se hospeda en su casa hasta que mejore la salud de ella. Es una pariente cercana, y sobre todo tiene la confianza de la familia y amigos que ayudan a esta causa y ha proporcionado gentilmente su cuenta bancaria y su seguro social para beneficio de María de Lourdes.
Así que, naturalmente, María de Lourdes está planeando utilizar su cuenta bancaria para acceder a toda la ayuda financiera recaudada por esta campaña para ayudar a su deuda médica.

Hi everyone! This is Lu.
Lourdes Sánchez is 24 years-old young woman, with all her course credits and about to graduate as Bachelor of Audiovisual Arts from the Catholic University of Guayaquil, Ecuador. She was born with Klipel-Trenaunay-Weber syndrome KTWS, which has always brought her pain and complications to her hips and right leg. Being in the USA on May 1st, her legs lost total sensitivity and her bladder and intestines ceased to function.
Lourdes has gone through a series of tests, 2 complicated surgeries, and there is still a long way to recover. Since there is no insurance to cover congenital conditions, the medical expenses are very high and need to be covered in order to continue with the rest of the treatment and interventions.
